Too cold for snakes but they do have venomous snakes in the park so be aware!

There are snakes in the area, any wooded area for that matter, but not an issue, just don't go off the trails out digging under logs, etc, and pay attention where you walk. Not really an issue in the winter time, but in the summer I'm sure if you look for them you'll find some. Snakes are to be expected anywhere, after all it's Texas ;) Probably have some even in your back yard
