I've seen there are alligators quite a few from the images. If there's a gator in your pathway or walking across the trail do you wait for it to move or cross ? Or do you turn back ? How do you maneuver around them ?

Wait or turn back. They can outrun a human over the first 30 feet. Bring binoculars and go to the observation tower.

We didn't see any, but yeah they have right of way and you don't want to be close at all. They look slow, but can turn on a dime when they want.
