We went on a wednesday and we didnt have to wait long in lines,I'm not sure about on a weekend
I went last weekend and there's more family there including of a lot of school kids then the water park in New Braunfels

Its always different. We have gone every weekend & sometimes it crowed & sometimes its not. We went on Thursday & it was packed.
It's pretty crowded on the weekends from what I remember, July 4th is a madhouse
I was there 4 days ago. It was busy, but it wasn't packed. The lines weren't very long for most of the slides. The longest line was about 15 minutes for the park's largest slide. We arrived about an hour and 15 minutes after the park opened, and there was no line at all to buy tickets and enter the park.
