Not sure but either way anytime you go there is snow and ice all over that mountain . Just go and enjoy you won't regret it
The road is not open in April. Usually it opens Memorial Day weekend, but it is weather dependent. It didn’t open until June 7th this year. Check the forest service website for the status of the road.
