FDR is a popular park so reserving a camp site on the state park web site is a good idea. Also, web site has lots of useful information like maps of camp sites, trails, etc..
The FDR park office can help you in person. Maps are available there, my wife and I have enjoyed the about 60 miles of trail for hiking and camping for years I'm sure you will too.
I went to website. Instructions on booking etc.Beautiful peaceful serene.Staff went above and beyond.
You can find more info and reserve a spot for camping on the GA State Parks website. https://gastateparks.org/FDRoosevelt
