I paid a $25 deposit and $61 including tax for 2 nights tenting here. Seems very expensive to me. Does that sound right to you?

I stayed there and felt a lack of privacy because fellow campers watched us fix meals and eat, camping spot was on water but extremely small. Noisy with kids running around our site while we were eating or sitting by the fire. Not to mention the partying until midnight or later both nights. There is no local hiking...we asked and were told there are no trails in the area. I am from the county, so somewhat familiar with area...not coming back to this campground. The kids even mentioned the lack of privacy to me. I am not usually negative and have camped in other places that are more comfortable.

The cove is more expensive. By the water more so. I tend to go to the upper part of the cove, less noise. Yes the sites are small, but the cove is mostly families who have been going to birtch point for generations. The patrins have watch kids grow up and have kids of their own. While no one will be rude, its the place where people stop by and introduce themselves to you. Its old school manners. Yes the partying does get noise but thats more friday and saturday night. Sorry you didnt enjoy the stay.

Probably, tenting and campers pay the same. However the I am sure the owners or manager would explain or correct if a mistake. They are very conciesious.
