Because the foods are prepared and served restaurant style. It’s similar to a grocery store. You can buy cold food in the deli cabinet, but you can’t buy foods off the hot bar.
A deli is different than Herman's. Think of it as two different stores. One is a restaurant where you can get meals. The other is raw or cooked meat that you prepare yourself. It's two completely different things. Hope this helps!
3 rules apply to most EBT transactions... 1. Must be food. 2. Must be taken out of the store to eat. 3. Must be cold (not headed in store) Thanks
Actually you can buy food at Dillons deli that is cold only and eat at their seating that they have. Should be no difference.
