As long as you don't overdraft your account and know how to spend your money , you won't have a problem with your Free checking account regardless what anyone says. Most people who have a problem with the bank tell you what they don't understand because they are mad. Talk to someone who knows what they are talking about.
No but you will need a few hundred dollars to pay the fees your so called free checking account incurs over a few years. Burying cash also accrues more divended than their savings account.
