Yep, great place for dogs. There is an off-leash area, otherwise leash laws apply. Lots of places to walk/explore with your dog.
Yes, they must be on a leash. But there is a nice wide trail along the river. Also a open field area, where I have seen people playing fetch with there dogs.
The park has one off leash area. The park is pretty busy so I would keep them on a leash while in other areas of the park.
