Are the encounters rain or shine? Also, is the sloth encounter as interactive as the lemur one? I've done the lemur one and LOVED it, but want to see how interactive the sloth one is (holding, playing, etc).

They have them rain or shine. Slothes do not often leave from where they are hanging. You cannot hold them and they do not play. You can pet them and they move much less than the lemurs so you can pet them as much as you want. The lemur one is more fun and interactive since the animals have a lot more energy. If its veen your dream to meet a sloth go for it, but otherwise it is not as worth the money.

My daughter loved the sloth encounter because she just loves sloths. She knows about the animal so she knew what to expect during the Encounter. If you're looking for something more lively I suggest the Lemur Encounter

Encounters are rain or shine, not sure about how interactive as I haven't done one yet, but keep in mind sloths are very slow moving docile creatures.

Sloth encounter was lame. Not worth it..... Giraffe was really cool.
