I've hiked to oxbow before and am interested in doing a hike/camp weekend. How do you go about reserving on of the sites, or is it first come first serve? Also- are you aloud to bring your dogs as long as you clean up after them?

Yes, for sure you can bring your dog 😎 We love Oxbow! Be sure to have your leash handy for them. It is 1st come 1st serve. There's plenty of space. There's a phone number on the sign when you get there to call and reserve 810-667-0304. Have FUN!

Looks like the number is in one of the oxbow pictures for getting a permit. 810 667 0304. Also might want to ask if the well (hand pump)is open for use that they test every year or plan on boiling it.
