It and amazing get away. 10 max camping sites. No power of running water. The out house is full of brown Recluse Spinders.

If you take the 2 track it's 1.7 miles. If you take the short cut trail it's 1.3 miles. The short cut has alot of hills.

I've hiked to oxbow before and am interested in doing a hike/camp weekend. How do you go about reserving on of the sites, or is it first come first serve? Also- are you aloud to bring your dogs as long as you clean up after them?

Yes, for sure you can bring your dog 😎 We love Oxbow! Be sure to have your leash handy for them. It is 1st come 1st serve. There's plenty of space. There's a phone number on the sign when you get there to call and reserve 810-667-0304. Have FUN!
