You should read the paperwork that comes with the card all the info is there. And yes most gas stations will put a hold of.some amount on your card. The reason it your card doesn't work at the pump is that your card does not have enough funds to cover that hold. You have to go inside and run it as credit.
My card never works at the gas station, I think because gas stations usually put a large hold on your card (like $75) to ensure you have the funds to pay for whatever amount you are getting. I use my card for things like groceries and fast food just fine. Also, I think it takes a day for the funds to be on your card.
Wait and call the damn card before you use it that's common sense I got 300$ in 2 weeks from them
How do I know if the money is on there. They keep charging me fees bcuz of having no funds on the card.
