If you lost an item there , do they keep it for you? Do they have a lost and found?

They keep it until they owner comes back for it

I've left my wallet once and returned the next day and they had it at the register

I'm not sure if they have a lost/found area 🤔 but if something is found, I'm pretty sure they will keep it. I'm talking about the staff, general people many times just found things & they keep it for themselves so an advice is take care of your things

I once left a manuscript I'd been editing there. The next day I realized it was lost and rushed back there. They had it on a shelf under the register. Sooo grateful!!
