Where do you swim? The lake is a bit too murky for me.

There is a creek that runs thru but it's only knee high and there are only a couple spot for access so its normally packed with ppl

mmm well this is a small lake only named after the houston lake park it is good for picnic and for hunting to play ball to be eaten by mosquitoes and to be out of the noisy world but not for swimming. I recommend the livinston lake from own experience only takes food, towels because you can bathe outside the lake in the bathrooms there and you can camp ... it is beautiful quiet great for the family and fishing.
