Yes back packs are allowed, as muddycookie said. Additionally, cedar point now has 'traveling lockers' - pay $8 for the day and you can move your locker rental from ride to ride so you always have your backpack in a locker near you

Yes, back packs are allowed in the park. Unfortunately if you bring a backpack into the park you may not be able to ride some of the rides because they dont have any bins to put things in. The only way you would be able to ride the rides without bins is to buy a locker or keep the backpack with a non rider.
