There was no evidence of the Red Tide when I was there. If it were in the area the Life Guard flag flying would have been Red.

Red Tide affects most people, so not safe to swim during Red Tide. Most people are affected by just going to the beach. Usually the weather forecast can tell you too, which beach is affected.

When we were there Red Tide was not in the area. You will need to check with the local authorities to get the current conditions of Red Tide.
