There are walkways around most. You cannot touch the water though. It's too dangerous.
Yeah it's like a 5 min walk from the hotel. But don't stray from the boardwalks or try and touch the water. It's extremely dangerous even though it looks pretty. Best time to tske pictures are in the afternoon, less fog and the springs are more active.
