It's a auction you pay only what u can afford maybe you win the bid maybe not buy yes cars do go for 500 bucks from time to time

I am a car dealer from AL and I've sold INOPS( non running vehicles) that went for more than $500. You won't win too many cars that run at $500 because there are other dealers there looking to buy cars for resale. If $500 is all you have to spend you would be much better off using it as a down payment on something that will last awhile. Also there is a $25 fee to register as a bidder, so you would only have $475 with which to bid.
