Take cash. I had to visit the ATM a couple times while I was there last year and the ATM fee is about double what most ATM's charge.

Cash. And some vendors are willing to haggle on price. Many like the "gold" dollar coins. Except for the beer tent, they hire idiots that have never seen such a thing.
