They made it so you cannot steal something ... Then return it to get a store credit and then they would sell the store credit for money ... Using ID makes it impossible to do that
Oh ok that's actually pretty smart, except like the person said already it's for my mother who can no longer get out of bed to use, so I will just bring her i.d with me or call. Thank you you guys were very helpful.
It seems like they didn't used to require it. It's made it tricky as I work for a lady running errands and when I return anything from her to Home Depot, they put the card in my name because I show them my ID. She tells them I'm her sister and they accept it. I think they ask for ID maybe to hold down on theft? I'm not sure.
To make sure your card goes too you. people steal so they make sure its you spending your card..
Because a lot of scamming has been going on lately so they changed it
