I am considering purchasing the grouted porcelain tile top patio table. It has an umbrella hole, but when I look at the assembly video, it doesn’t look like there is an opening in the legs for an umbrella pole. How does the table hold an umbrella?

With a base you put the end of the umbrella in.

There should be a weighted base you add water to with the umbrella
