Before we come out to visit I need to know FOR SURE if there is a tick problem in the park. One person in or family has been sick with Lyme disease for a LONG time, suffering with many side effects.

I'd say, if you're outdoors and there's grass and brush, assume there's ticks and use appropriate precautions.

The ticks are around. But you can be careful. And use an off spray.

Pretty much anywhere on the East End of Long Island there's ticks that you need to worry about
