There is no fee and the park closes at dusk so the closing hours change, but it's posted at the entrance. I believe it closes at 9ish right now. It is completely safe to let your dog run off leash. It is completely fenced in with two gates to enter through to make sure your pupper doesn't get out.
To add to the above person...there are two dog areas one for smaller breeds one for larger breeds. I recommend always keep an eye out ive had several issues going there with other dogs attacking mine. I know dogs will be dogs but just letting you know people arent always keeping an eye on their dogs so inportant that you do. There's also a water faucet inside the dog area and waste bags for you to pick up after your dog
No fees. Sun up to Sun down. Off leash as long as they obey voice commands. Clean up after your doggie uses the "potty". Great place! I live on Fort Knox, and choose togo to the Freeman Lake Dog Park instead of the one that's right on post. I've been to alot of places, and this one is by far the absolute BEST❗💜
I went to the dog park last weekend.There was a couple with three dogs in the fence area.As I went to open the gate,all three dogs gang up on my dog.The young man didn't help to pull his dogs back.I ask him for help and he shurg his shoulders.I left.
