How does the hotel get around the ADA requirement for elevators? My son is a disabled vet and had to carry his luggage down a flight of stairs to his room. Maintenance guy could not explain how a public facility built in 1996 could skirt the law. The

I wish I knew. I, too, am disabled and had to do the same thing. That place is a dump. Nasty, crappy breakfast food, and no elevator. I'll never stay there again.

The ADA requirement for elevators in hotels only applies if there is three or more floors and when built after January 26, 1993.
