If your rent or bring a bike you will find many more places to fish around the 8 miles of shoreline! The more adventurous types will find some beautiful places to throw a line!
From the pier beyond the rocks on the breakwall. Just take a long rod so you can cast out far enough.
I did see some people take their fishing equipment to the shore.
