Don't understand why they don't change their name, it is no longer 99cent only, i call it 99cent surprise, you never know what price you're going to pay now, they really should change their name, it is false statement keeping it 99cent only,

I can't answer for them . They do carry a lot of products that list 99 cents. The prices end in .99 cents. I don't think k it would have the same effect if it were called the dollar store or the 1 dollar store. It sounds like you are getting a better deal if you're paying 99 cents rather then a dollar. The store is not limited to merchandise that can only be sold for 99 cents.
