Although everything at this establishment isn't $.99 anymore there is still value in the items you purchase there. Shopping here helps you stay below your budget for certain items, like bleach, dishwashing liquid, and sponges for example, so you can then spend regular prices at your go to stores for items like toilet tissue and deodorant if you are finicky about those things...at least that's what I do. The 99 Cents Only Stores has a wonderful selection of crafting supplies and classroom supplies for us teachers as well.

Some of the products featured at 99¢ cent store are more expensive than you could buy at Target or walmart. Such as suave shampoo going for $1.99 Target for a dollar 99 or Walmart same price. There is no reason for a discount good store to raise their prices beyond the big box chain stores. the excuse that everyone else is raising their prices is exactly that an excuse.

Calming Meditation

Store has pretty good variety but customer service is lacking. It seems as of late, they are either short staffed or registers are not working and lines are extremely long with one or two registers open. The last two times I have shopped here I bought milk and it was spoiled on both occasions. (Discounted for a reason I guess). I still shop here periodically, but definitely needs improvement!

There are a lot of items I buy at this store and it's a great place to get seasonal things like st Patrick's day, Halloween, Christmas etc. They have 7 registers but rarely have more than 2 open so checkout can be a pain.
