The 15th and 16th is lucky dog. That is really fun and you get to see a LOT of different car types
Not far north in Washington will be winged Sprint Cars and Modifieds at Yakima State Fair Park. Sept 21 & 22. First class American professional dirt track racing.
At Portland International Raceway there will be drag racing on the 19th and 21st and then motorcycle road racing on the 23rd. At Woodburn Dragstrip there is the 33rd Annual Fall Classic of Alcohal Funny Cars and a Pro Nostalgia event. Woodburn is about mid-state location. In Southern Oregon at Medford Dragstrip they will have grudge racing and the VW series on Sept. 22. Not much in the way of road racing while you are here and that includes the state of Washington to the north.
