There are beaches near by. I would not swim in the lake. The campground has a pool.

Swim in the pool, or venture to Hartman State Park or Marl lake.

We do have the pool but another swimming beach option is South Park in Waupaca. It is located on Shadow Lake. Basically its Waupaca's public pool and they have lifeguards.
