You can get a monthly pass for unlimited rides on Blue Line at Charlotte Transportation Center for $88. If your company has comuter benefits program you can get the monthly pass for $79.20 pretaxed.
The CATS Pass app is the easiest way to pay for an occasional rider. $2.20 per trip. A Local Monthly pass is $88. I don't know if you can buy them in the kiosk but you can order them online and they will mail them to you or you can pick it up at the Transit Center uptown.
