Minerva lake. I just reserved a site there. Im for far away. What can i expect as i am there late July. Alot of animals? Fishing good? Fire ring?

Anywhere in the UP is beautiful especially the hiawatha forest which wraps around where i live. I strongly recommend you google Minerva lake hiawatha forest (theres also a Minerva Lake in WI.) to be sure this is where your looking at staying and what your hoping to find. If not we have many areas that are what i think your hoping for, id be happy to help im a former travel agent lol. First lets be sure Minerva lake is what your looking for.

It's beautiful. Everything will be great. Just bring plenty of bug spray that has DEET in it.

There are lots of local animals. As far as I know the fishing has been great in the area, and depending on the weather it can be hot and dry. Be sure to bring tick repellent they have been act so far this year.

Yea i did alot of reasearch. Alot lol i like the fact it is only one campsite. Me and my family like seclusion.. The lake i read on the hawatha national forest forestry dispersed camping website said it has a repution for good fishing. We don't mind the no toilets. We also wanted to see alot of wildlife and i am hoping this is it. We where wondering if it had a firepit or if we had tp bring one cuz we do have one.
