I dont think so. Most businesses dont take them anymore. I would go to the bank and withdraw the cash until your real checks arrive.
No business will accept starter checks ...due to the high risk of fraud, Starter can be easily be created with any personal computer.
I don't know, most people these days have and use debit cards. This is easier and it's a lot less trouble. Come into the twenty-first century already. Hardly anyone uses paper checks anymore.
What they said.
I agree with one other answer, most businesses don't accept starter checks.
If you mean starter checks, you may want to call Publix. They may or may not accept checks of any kind. My financial institution issued a debit/credit card the same day I opened my account which helps reduce chances of overdraft. See if you can get such a card immediately. P.S. Walmart may still take checks which are converted to e-checks.
A starter check is the kind they give you when you first open your account and you haven't received the pre-printed ones yet. I'm not sure about the answer, but maybe that knowledge will help other local guides to answer the question.
What is a stater check?
