If I wish to travel with my dog and she is not allowed at the cabin, is there an option to board her nearby so that she can go on walks with us at sleeping bear dunes and other walks?

There are several kennels nearby the closest I believe is Platt River veterinary hospital.

There are plenty of amenities around here including Platte Lake Veterinary about 2 miles from the cabins just on the west side of Honor. There are many other places within 10 miles.

There isnt much of anything close to those cabins in terms of amenities. Your best guess is checking traverse city which is 20 mins away approximately
