This hotel met all of my criteria for a one-night stay to visit Sleeping Bear Dunes: it was new, clean, reasonably priced, and conveniently located. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. It was perfect!

Affordable, great location a short walk from the beach and everything we needed, laid-back vibe with everything clean and new. Although the place is friendly for families and pets, we were surprised at how quiet and peaceful it was as well. The motel structure with open-air corridors and stairs also felt safer in the time of covid. Our room was large, and we appreciated having a coffee maker, fridge, and microwave inside.

I typically avoid motels, but this was lovely. Rooms are surprisingly big and nice, the WiFi is free and reliable, and the whole experience is pleasant. You're also within walking distance of the beach and anything else in Empire. My only complaints are the thin walls. You can hear nearly anything inside or outside of the building.

We loved this cute little inn! We were happy to find a dog friendly stay. The inn is newly updated and super comfortable, our golden retriever loved it especially. Everything was cleaned and presented well, a keurig was available for coffee and tea in the morning. Owner and staff were courteous and kind. Close to the Sleeping Bear Dunes. If you have a dog and are looking for a great place to stay, this is it!
