We have canoe liveries here in Ohio where people drink alcohol on the river while canoeing and such. Is this river that type? We are looking for one that allows it.

The Platte River has all kinds of visitors from families with small children to groups of adults who drink responsibly. Alcoholic beverages are allowed on the river although the National Park Service does restrict any glass containers. The rangers will even sometimes do spot checks on coolers.
