Just walk in. Less busy times are before 3 during the week. When I went at 8am Saturday I got in quickly as well. When you donate the first time you need to budget 3 hours of your day because of all the paperwork and physical you have to have including the time it takes you to donate. But normally you can be in and out within 1.5 to 2 hours, even less. You're paid that day for your donation. Make sure before you arrive you are hydrated and eat a good amount of protein.
