Why is Social Security card needed? I have a State issued Driver's License, a passport and my birth certificate, but cannot find my SSC. May I donate with this documentation along with proof of residence?

They use that to make sure that people aren't donating too much for extra money. It's a safety thing.

No. You absolutely HAVE to have you SS card. I had a little bit of nail polish spilled on my card and they almost didn't take it.
