It was not the airports choice. They loved the route. Allegiant decided to pull it as it was not fiscally sound to run the route which at the time stretched their limits on the aircraft they had. Not the airport's fault. Edit (since it wasnt good enough before): The airline can make double the money running routes closer to Florida as opposed to the one run out here. It's not that anyone didnt like the Florida run here....it was a business decision to make more money. Odd how businesses are out to make money. There is a private service at the airport you can look into so you can fly to the destination you need since the successful international corporation failed to take your personal needs into consideration
