Only one person when someone has surgery. For visitors after only 2 people at visiting hours if one person leaves no one else can visit at that time.
As far as I know there can only be 2 people twice a day. Unsure if more are able to be present during a surgery. My Mom was suppose to have a surgery that lasted an hour. Now she is in a long-term care facility with a trach and a feeding tube. They said she is brain dead and total kidney failure. This was not the case when she went in and they were asking me to take her off the ventilator. I would think long and hard before putting your family member through what mine has endured.
You are only allowed to visit during visiting hours. 8 to 10 am and 5 to 8pm. Only one person allowed at a time. If it's a serious surgery they will let next of kin, eg wife or husband, spend a little time before surgery. The rules are very strict due to the virus.
