Could be anywhere, but I camped for 2 days/nights and did not see any snakes, so I think the risk is pretty low.

Snakes could be anywhere. If you stay on the boardwalk you will be fine.

The trail is a boardwalk. You don't even get your feet dirty or snake bitten.

LOL ...it's nature ...the snakes are anywhere they want to be! In general, however, if you stay on the paths, trials etc and keep an eye out, you shouldn't have any problem. I did see a cottonmouth swimming ...I wasn't in the water with it, so had no issue! These snakes aren't limited to the park ...you could encounter them anywhere, so go enjoy Conagree

During our visit, nothing indicated venomous snakes were anywhere near us. If you are leary of visiting because of them, don't be.
