You only need your drivers license or ID. Usually an hour is good...depends on your veins and if there are people waiting before you. Maybe call that morning and let them know your plans. The people there are very nice and its great of you to want to squeeze it in!
You need photo identification and depending on what you donate, like whole blood, can be done fairly quickly with an appointment
