I have two questions. 1) Is overnight parking permitted? 2) Are you allowed to primitive camp on the land across the way. We were considering launching our kayaks here and camping in the Forrest across the way. Thanks!

The answer to both is no. Its day use only. Its patroled by the sheriff department . Most of the land around the reservoir is owned by the power company. You could ask the sheriff department or the Wilmington police to verify

No over night camping is allowed. Not over night parking. Suggest you talk with the officers on duty they will give you the latest information. Enjoy the beauty of the lake and forest. Tim

No there is no overnight parking and now you're not allowed to Camp over there but there is a place just down the road at the campground for nudist
