I saw that they were redoing a whole new water park is it done yet or is it still under construction?? ......because that's the main reason my family wants to go

It is not ready yet. The swimming pool may be open, but the splash pad is still under construction. There has been a lot of rain recently that has pushed the completion date back. You can check their progress on their Facebook page, or call and ask before making a reservation.

When we were there, they said it would be ready for Memorial Day weekend. I haven't checked back to see if it was finished.

At this point I really don't know. But I can honestly say my family and I had a great time when we were there!
