Grinders in the NE USA are the same as subs, heros, torpedoes, etc.
All I know about a grinder in "pizza" terminology is a pizza pot pie...if you know what a pot pie looks like or ever had a pot pie, then basically it's a pot pie with pizza ingredients...almost like a round deep dish pizza...check out Chicago Pizza & Oven Grinder in Chicago, Illinois on Clark Street because they make pizza grinders, or in other words, pizza pot pies👍😄
