We need to contact agfc & request a fishing report.
I wish they would as well.
It takes dedication to stay with the changing conditions and such a small lake hasn’t yet stirred up the right person for it. 350 acres with a shallow flat center isn’t too difficult to figure out where the fish are and what they are feeding on. I haven’t read the outline of what was written about it but I can tell you what I know about it. This lake was designated and maintained as one of Arkansas’s prime Trophy Large Mouth Bass lakes. It’s slot limit is set to produce true Trophies you would be proud to display on your game room wall. The first problem the AG&F encountered was the blatant disregard for the rules on what was to be kept and was the number of fish allowed to be possessed in a single day. I witnessed a hundred or more LMB being removed in a single boat more than once. This was at a time when the lake was just getting a foothold on the true purpose of the lake. Peoples greed and ignorance almost stopped the entire program from being possible.
