Yup. To the Bahamas you need only your birth certificate. But if you have a passport you don't have to wait in the long line of certificate holders to get back into the states. There's a line for passport holders and no one has one so it's way faster lol
If you are a US citizen, no passport is needed as mentioned above, you can use your birth certificate; however, if you are not a US citizen, a passport is required.
