Can I pick up dead wood from the woods that surrounded the campsite for fire wood?

I don't think you're supposed to, as the park is also a Nature Preserve. Best to ask the Rangers before doing collecting any

There shouldn't be a problem. Lots of wet areas though. Good oak available along trails. Makes clean smokeless fires.

Not sure I would ask the people who run the park to be sure.
