Has nothing to do with buying anything! WiFi is free sometimes it's just slow!
With my phone.......Norton security discourages using their WiFi due to the vulnerability of your private information. Before I had Norton....I never had a problem accessing WiFi at any McDonald's or Wendy's. Ask a counter person the deal with their store access.
Depends on the franchise. I have found McDonald's Wifi rather weak.
No you do not have to buy something to use the free wifi. Just ask an associate for the password.
You have to buy something in there before they turn there Wi-Fi network on
