2 hours ahead of your boarding time
2hrs is standard for domestic flights. Give a little more time during peak commute times.
I'd give it 2 hours. Burbank is an awesome fast efficient airport... but it's not like you can't watch a video or play a game in your phone while you wait and not risk hitting a long line unexpectedly.
Christina's advice is good. If everything goes well, you'll have extra time. But, in my world, if something can go wrong, it will.
If you have only carry on bags and check in online any time within the 24 hours before your flight, getting to the airport 1 hour ahead should be ok. BUR is a small airport so the walk to the gate from TSA security screening is not too long.
